Lindsay Anderson and Dana VanVeller

"We were starving and the richness and burst of flavours of the etouffe really hit the spot. This was just a small sample of all the delicious food we would be having at the Café the following days."

This place is a little piece of heaven. It makes us consider living here. Can't believe the people here wake up to this view every day. The food here was simply amazing. I've eaten Korean pancakes many times before and yours has been one of the best. We will definitely recommend your restaurant and B&B to friends visiting Newfoundland.

Thank you both so much for the opportunity to experience such a unique part of Newfoundland. Your warm hospitality, amazing home to stay and cooking your unique food- so much to enjoy.

A diamond in the rough and rugged coast of the Northern Avalon, Grates Cove Studios was well worth the (quick) jaunt from St John's. The vastness of the place was stunning and beautiful, but most special was Terrence and Courtney who run the very unique and welcoming 'studios'. After a tour of the area and accommodations, I knew this was a proper gem to be revisited and explored for years to come. The offerings brought out from the kitchen were first-class and there are enough activities, sites and hikes to suit whatever your mood or tendency. Can't wait to go back for longer than just a day-trip!
